Tokyo is a capital city of Japan. It is where the Saeki house is located in Nerima ward. It is also where the grudge curse was believed to be born and where it mainly operated. The whole population of Tokyo was eventually killed off by the curse, most probably along with the rest of the world, leaving it empty, abandoned and littered with missing persons flyers.
