Yuka Kanehara (金原 由香, Kanehara Yuka) is a character in Ju-on: White Ghost, portrayed by Marika Fukunaga.
Biography[]
Yuka was Akane's and Mayumi's friend and classmate. She was haunted by Mirai in a bathroom who she followed to a stall where she was surprised and killed by Haru.
Etymology[]
- The name Yuka means "reason, case, cause" (由) (yu) and "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka).
- Yuka's surname Kanehara means "gold/metal, money/cash, currency" (金) (kane) and "field, plain" (原) (hara).
